BACCALAUREATE 2010 is Saturday! Hope to see all you graduating seniors there. This will be an event to remember with senior speakers, senior entertainers, Soundsation and much, much more. These students took at least 3 tests and scored from 7 to 25 points. They are Corey Connolly, Alex White, Daniel Meirovitch, Kyle Griffin, Robert Claus, Kris Frey, Ryan Weng, George Klett, Keith Branson, and John Greiner. Our top two students are Core Connolly with 25 points and Alex White with 22 points. Please RSVP to Mrs. O’Malley so that she knows how much pizza to buy. Congratulations! (O’Malley-17) HEY CHARGERS: Yearbook distribution is today in the auxiliary gym from 12:35-1:00. We will close the doors promptly at 1:00 because we can’t be late to 6th period. You must have your ID card to get your yearbook. Distribution will continue through tomorrow in the auxiliary gym from 12:30-1 p.m. All leftover yearbooks will be sold to other students on Monday so make sure you pick it up by tomorrow! (Bartetzko-17) ATTENTION ALL SENIORS: Don’t forget that tomorrow is our Senior Field Day! Make sure to bring all of your blow up pools, beach toys, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, pop-up shades, etc. Field Day starts at 9:30 with check in at the dug out entrance to the Toledo Field. In-N-Out will start serving at 10:30. Just a friendly reminder that you must purchase your $4 In-N-Out lunch ticket at ASB this week. ATTENTION ALL YOU SPORTS FANS: If you thought sports were over for the year, guess again. Your El Toro Varsity Football Team has scheduled one last game. Please come join us today at 5pm here at ET for the 2nd Annual Spring Football Game. The football program will be honoring its beloved 2010 senior class by giving them one last opportunity to show their talent. Your seniors will be playing against next year’s future varsity team. This will be an exciting event. Please come support your football program. See you there! Come out Saturday, July 3rd and participate in the Lake Forest Firecracker 5K Run/Walk. Registration and volunteer information is available on our website www.lakeforest5k.org.
Students, parents and faculty are encouraged to run, walk or volunteer to make this 16th annual 5K a success. All proceeds go to El Toro High School PSTO and are used to purchase educational supplies, equipment and programs for our school. Blue & gold and red, white & blue – what better way to kick off your summer vacation?!
