new-moon“The Twilight Saga: New Moon” tells of Bella’s search for happiness when her whole world comes crashing down and she falls into a deep depression. This movie is filled with intense action, romance, comedy and, of course, supernatural creatures.

The budget for this movie was clearly larger than it was for “Twilight.” The special effects were awesome, especially compared to “Twilight,” although there were parts of the movie where it was obvious that the wolves were animated. In “Twilight,” the movie looked like a documentary because of how it was filmed, “New Moon” looked much better and more like a movie.

This movie is also packed with hot boys who tend to run around shirtless. Robert Pattinson, Edward Cullen, displayed his bare chest but, unfortunately, Pattinson could still use a little bit more workout time in the gym. Taylor Lautner, Jacob Black, also showed off his amazing body in this movie and all his hard work to achieve the muscles required for this role definitely paid off.

Kristen Stewart, Bella Swan, is great at portraying the physical pain she feels after the love of her life has left her alone. Stewart and Pattinson have made a better romantically awkward connection with each other, which was perfect for their roles of two star-crossed lovers who should not be together. Lautner was perfect for his role because he was able to be the total sweetheart and yet he could be the angry, jealous, overprotective guy who loves Bella.

The movie followed the book very well, although, they made some changes where things happened so they could fit all the important parts into the movie. There were also some changes in how things happened and some additions to the movie, such as fighting scenes, to add more action and excitement.

The midnight premiere of this movie on Friday had many ecstatic fans. There were some people lined up to get into the theatre at 2 p.m. on Thursday. Most people arrived and set up camp in line at about 5 or 6 p.m. Everyone was in jackets and blankets, socializing with each other and playing games. Some people even brought portable DVD players to watch “Twilight” before the movie started.

Once the lights went down and the movie began, there were shrieks and screams from the more crazed fans who continued to scream and squeal throughout the movie. Compared to the midnight premiere of “Twilight” last year there were less screams of excitement from fans during “New Moon,” and this could have been because the “Twilight” fans have become used to the characters.

This movie is a must-see for all “Twilight,” Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, action and romance fans because it is the total package. The action is awesome, most of the boys are hot and the whole “Twilight” storyline is magically romantic.
