The groups attempted to “pop, lock and drop” their way to victory, using eye-popping stunts such as back and front flips, dance moves like jerking and moonwalking and clever lip-syncing to get the crowd’s vote.
This year’s theme was “Air Guitar Royale: Perfrom the Impossible.” The eccentric Dr. Rok, played by junior Derek Hedbany, attempted to “take over” the show, but was thwarted by secret agent Nigel Stone, played by senior Collin Andrews, and his double agents, played by seniors Johnathon and Jeremiah Kennedy.
A record 1,050 students attended the show, breaking last year’s record of 800. The event brought in $4,000 for The BullETin and Bull’s-Eye journalism programs.
